Hawthorn or Crataegus laevigata, is a popular hedgerow sight and has had a long use in traditional western herbal medicine. An antioxidant and cardiac tonic, in every sense of the word, Herbalists use it for any condition of the heart from high blood pressure and palpitations through to mild congestive hart failure. It is a peripheral circulatory stimulant and also aids hot flushes and the emotional heart in mild anxiety.

What is a tincture:
Herbal tinctures are an alcohol and water based preparation. This tincture has been percolated in 45% alcohol at 1:3 to capture all the beneficial phytochemicals and herbal constituents.
Suggested use:
2-5ml up to 3 times per day either on its own or in a little water or as directed by a herbalist.
